Mata Hari by Bally 1978 - 4 player solid state

SOLD
Type: Solid State Electronic
Production: 16,260 units
Theme: Historical
Game Design:Jim Patla

The Mata Hari has both EM and SS versions, this game is Solid State. Some of the earliest versions of the Solid State models backglasses had a dagger with an inscription that reads "Meine Ehre heißt Treue" (German, "My honor is loyalty"). Mata Hari died during WWI rendering the inscription an anachronism. Later the inscription was removed from the artwork as to not offend potential patrons.
This game has been in my personal collection for about 5 years and is in very good condition. Very clean game inside and out, near collector quality. The game does have the early production backglass with the dagger inscription. The sounds are real EM chimes making this a true classic Bally game.
