New Transformers Pro by Stern Pinball

At the heart of this George Gomez designed game is the epic battle between two races of transforming robots. The backglass translite image is framed by a border comprised of the two tribes' colors - violet for the Decepticons and crimson for the Autobots. The cabinet features differing high definition artwork on each side. On the right side are various Autobots with Optimus Prime featured. The left side features assorted Decepticons led by Megatron. The backbox is similarly themed with the Autobot and Decepticon logos. The Decepticons featured on this game are Megatron, Starscream, Shockwave, Blackout and Devastator and the featured Autobots are Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Ironhide, Mudflap & Skids, and Ratchet.

The playfield design features a wall of ramps, locks and targets and eight main shots available from two flippers. There is a saucer shot on the left above the slingshot. The orbit and ramp shots are mirrored on the right with a very steep right ramp. Megatron is to the left of center and Optimus Prime is on the right. The Bumblebee captive Camaro target, which when hit from behind, can propel the car into a target at the end of a lane, much like the car crash in Demolition Man.

The apron features square QR code decals which, when photographed by a smart phone or tablet with the appropriate software and data connection, will take the user to a related Transformers-themed website.
